Vtg Bombay Company Brass Elephant Desk Set Of 3

This is a vintage three-piece elephant desk set from The Bombay Company. The set includes a large hinged trinket box, which is the main piece shown in the image, and it contains two smaller elephants inside. It is so lovely and unique. It is a collectible item and is hard to come across. The elephants are made of brass with a decorative design and are accented with red rhinestones. The smaller elephants within the trinket box are a magnifying glass and a letter opener. The main elephant has a magnetic closure and is often described as a paperweight or trinket box. The elephant's trunk is raised, which is often considered a symbol of good luck. Amazing vintage letter set! Brass is in great condition. No marks on magnifying glass. Letter opener is not bent. On all elephants the outer layer of heavy, solid brass is shiny and new looking, natural patina is underneath and defines the features. In very good vintage condition. They all fit like Russian dolls. Has rhinestone adornments, none are missing.
