Vtg Blue Sky Bride n Groom "Just Married" Workng Music Box Heather Goldminc 2001

A bear bride and groom in a fabulous maroon convertible, driving away from their wedding. These would be the same bears as are in Goldminc's "Wedding Party" cake topper, but with a LOT more going on around them! The bride holds up her bouquet while waving to onlookers while the groom steers the car and waves as well. They look fabulously happy! The bride holds her bouquet high with her left paw, while the right grasps her elegant white handbag. The car is an absolute symphony of details--decorated from stem to stern with little rosettes, and wheels that have hearts on the hubcaps. The hood sports a large heart of roses and green leaves, and the front license plate is actually a heart proclaiming "True Love." The back of the car trails a traditional assortment of wedding decorations--a shoe, a can or two, some bells and a heart as well, along with a "I (heart) U" sign. The "Just Married" proclamation is on another, bigger heart attached to the trunk. The music box works, and plays”I Love You Truly”. What an incredible find! The figurine--which would be a GREAT decoration at a wedding reception or as a gift for a bear-loving bride and groom, stands 4 1/4 inches tall, and is 8 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches deep.
