Offered for sale is a beautiful glass LARGE SERVING BOWL made by Anchor Hocking. It is made of deep ruby red glass, which Anchor Hocking called ROYAL RUBY. Anchor Hocking made Royal Ruby glass for decades, starting in 1938. This large bowl was introduced in 1940, and continued in production until 1960. This bowl measures 11 1/2 inches (33.0cm) in diameter, and stands 3 1/2 inches (8.9cm) tall at the rim. This is a very nice ruby glass piece for your collection.
