Vtg American Primitive Shelf Sitting Santa Tin Metal & Fabric Signed 1987 USA

Estate find. This is a hand crafter/painted shelf sitting Santa from Shadow Dancer Angelica, NY USA. This piece is signed Young 1987. Santa body is metal, possibly tin, his face is hand painted and his clothing is hand made as well. Very primitive or folk art in appearance, sitting he is approximately 7" from the shelf, 13" total. He was tucked in a box with some hay type material, I tried my best to get it off but every time I look at him, there is another little piece. I apologize in advance if you find some. He is supposed to be holding a little doll on a string, there is a hole in his hand for the string. You can easily hang whatever you choose to hang there, or leave it as is. He's weird and great all at the same time. Sold as shown, please see all photos.
