Vtg 80s 90s NY Girl Tweed Herringbone Wool Coat Preppy Old Money Union Made SZ8 Made in the USA. This is a very heavy tweed. It has a rough texture. Please see photos for the texture. It’s hard to tell in the photos, but the jacket looks very brown in person. The colors used were black, brown, and white. It is a size 8 women’s. There are a few spots where they used teal yarn in the mix. Maybe three spots where you’ll see a small teal thread. It’s not a stain. It is part of the material. There is no material tag, but it appears to be a wool blend per other coats made at this time from this brand. I’m not sure of the exact make up.
