Vintage 70's Gloria Vanderbilt for Murjani size 14. Waist 29"x 28.5" inseam with 7.5" inside cuffed hem. Deep Indigo Blue Denim Orange Stitcing and structured back yoke. This specific embroidered branding format- along with the exposed metal rivets at upper pocket corners strongly points to late 70's or very early 80's. The Golden Era of the "designer jeans" craze! Mohan Murjani was the mogul who partnered with Vanderbilt to launch the historic "designer denim" boom. Items carrying the joint brand are the most collectible and valuable era of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans. The natural honeycombing & lighter faded areas across the seat match with being cherished and well worn. There is no thinning in these areas. Material is in great shape. Being a 70's kid myself, I remember all jeans fading slightly in this area. Especially from friction from being worn every weekend at the skating rink. These jeans are in excellent pre-owned condition. Show some ironing lines. This I believe was this woman's favorite pair. At least, out of the one's I found. They do have a 7.5" cuff to the inseam...
