Vtg 1990s Red Polo/Golf Shirt USMC Marine Corps Bulldog Smoking Cigar USA MADE

This is a vintage 1990s polo/golf shirt featuring Chesty, the Marine Corps bulldog mascot, smoking a cigar; USMC and Chesty are embroidered with nice detail. It is 100% combed cotton and was MADE IN THE U.S.A. This is much higher quality than most of the shirts of this type are now. The size is large and the color is USMC red; sizes have changed a bit since then, so go by the chest measurement, which is 48" just under the armholes - it fits more like an XL. It was purchased from a catalog of military and patriotic apparel and gear (back when those kinds of purchases were made by check via mail). It is in excellent pre-owned condition, always washed using a gentle cycle and then drip-dried on a rack designed for drying shirts - it never was dried in a drier, so it hasn't shrunk. Thanks to weightlifting, it has not fit him, and has not been worn, in about 20 years; it has been stored in his closet. Original owner. From a smoke-free and pet-free home.
