The front depicts two country kids sledding down a snowy hill. The girl sits in front and covers her eyes, her braids flying in the wind, while her brother holds on to her from behind. A smiling snowman stands in the background with a bunny hopping out of his hat. Surrounding the scene is a charming border of ivy or holly. The fluted edges of this oven-safe pie plate add a touch of elegance, while the underside includes the full recipe for "Fireside French Apple Pie."
