Vtg 1979 Airplane Trophy/w Eagle on Italian Marble 12" R C Patttern Contest 3rd place Star Novice Guntersville, Alabama Vintage gold-colored airplane sits atop an Italian marble base. Gold and black 3rd place Medallion sits on a wooden oval plaque that is raised off of a black rectangular column. This sits on another Italian marble base that is separated by the larger main marble base by a gold toned piece. A gold colored eagle adorns the bottom base piece. The inscription on the attached information plaque reads: 3rd Place- Star Novice Lake Guntersville Championships 1979 R.C. Pattern Contest In overall really nice condition with one tiny discoloration on the edge of the bottom base and one mild rough edge on the middle base. A little bit of gold loss on airplane, shown in pictures. Trophy weighs 2 pounds 9.5 oz. Base size-5"×2.5"
