Vintage 1970s Straw HandbagNatural color straw and raffia handbag Double top handles, clear plastic coated flat straw pieces on handle and sides Front and back are grass like woven, satin like feel Front has raffia flowers and leaves embroidered Metal hardware, twist closure. The closure has some rust and gold color flaked off The brackets that hold the handles to the bag are bent outwards, see pictures. Inside is fully lined with a pocket on either side, one has a metal zipper. Vinyl lining is wipeable with a wet rag, lining does show stains but has been cleaned with mild cleaners and water. Color has seeped into the vinyl. The bottom is held together with leather straps anchored by studs. One leather strap is a bit rougher on on the edge. Studs show normal wear. There is also appears to be a water stain on the bottom corner where it looks more grey.
