Please see photos for measurements and condition, photos are part of the description. Khokhloma is an old Russian folk handicraft dating back to the seventeenth century. It is a style of painting using red, green, and gold hues on a black background. The motifs of Khokhloma painting are both simple and poetic, consisting of floral and plain geometrical patterns. Flowers and clusters of berries interwoven with sweeping grasses and golden tendrils curve gently over the wooden surfaces. ❤Other Khokhloma items available in my closet.
