lisadrama2564 @lmarx1 hi I’m so sorry that I’m just now responding to you. I posted one more picture next to a measuring tape. I know the European conversion shoe chart says a 40 is between a 9 1/2 and a 10. Obviously, with the shoe you have to adjust for the outside molding when you were looking at the measuring tape. There is a little booty that your foot fits inside. Hope that helps.
