These unscrew. Once unscrewed all the way but not entirely loose from clasp, the leather strap will slide out. (It will be a tight fit). Slide the new clasp on to your bag experimenting which side works best for you. Push the leather strap back in to the clasp carefully threaded screw through opening in leather. Being careful not to strip the screw, tighten the screw back in to place, aligning the end with the hole. Screw should be flush once it’s in completely.

@kienhofer i wouldn’t do that😊Most people attach over the top so they have both. You would just attach the clasp to one side of your current handles.
