Vintge Chinese Art Glass Bonsai Tree

This item is a vintage Chinese art glass bonsai tree featuring pink flowers and jade-style green leaves in a celadon-colored ceramic pot. These pieces were popular mid-century decor items, and the leaves and flowers are often made from carved semi-precious stones or glass held together by wire, allowing the branches to be posed. The leaves are jade-style glass, and the pink flowers are made of glass or pink quartz/agate stone. The branches are formed with wrapped wire, and the trunk is a solid material, all set in a ceramic pot filled with small pebbles. These are generally Chinese in origin and are often identified as vintage or mid-century pieces (circa 1960s-1970s). Measures approximately 11 inches tall. Excellent vintage condition.
