Vintage Kitsch Clown and Circus Dog Salt & Pepper Shakers

Vintage set of clown and and his circus clown dog friend. Dog has been repaired and there is a chip on the back of the clowns ruffle. From a distance this is in great condition but when handled and inspected Ceramic Arts Studio produced their work between 1942-1955. This cute duo is one of their 'snuggle' style shaker sets. This sitting clown holds a small black and white circus dog. Overall height is just under 4" tall. Both are stamped on the bottom with the studio logo.
