Vintage Hazel Atlas 40s-50s Fine Rib Orange Baked Glaze MCM Tilt Ball Pitcher This pitcher features a distinctive tilted ball shape with a fine ribbed pattern and a fired-on orange finish. Stands just under 9" at its highest point and is 22 1/2" around its widest part. It includes a unique "ice lip" designed to prevent ice cubes from pouring out when serving beverages. These pitchers were manufactured in the United States by Hazel Atlas, a prominent glass company, primarily during the 1940s and 1950s. There is some dots of paint loss and it could use a more detailed scrub. I've scrubbed it a couple times with gentle soap and a toothbrush but I don't want to scrub too hard and take glaze off. It came from a forgotten cellar. Nice for an orange collector or for a sunny display piece.
