Vintage German Helmut Flade Angel

German by Helmut Flade angel figurine, Erzgebirge Vintage teak Christmas Angel Caroler with brass bronze accents and flax hair. Hard to find! Made of hardwood, probably teak and brass figurine featuring singing angel girl. It was designed and produced by Helmut Flade. They were produced for three decades from the late 50s to the late 80s and are possibly teak, possibly a different type of hardwood. Manufactured in the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge), in the VEB United Spielwarenwerke VERO Olbernhau, the largest toy manufacturer in the former GDR (German Democratic Republic). Slight signs of age/wear/use as seen on pictures/last photo. Measures approximately 3.9'' tall.
