Art Deco Gold Dress Dress Fur Clip
This rare late 1930s to early 1940s fur clip dress.
It has a Morccarean frame with a lacy openwork geometric designs.
Throughout out the clip are faux turquoise cachonoans and white pearl placed in gold prong setting.
Gold balls are placed throughout the front of the clip.
Elaborate beautiful gold scrolls accent the faux turquoise stones.
The clip works on a hinge.
The backing has small prongs.
Dress and fur clips were worn to glamor up clothes and give the wear more fashion individuality.
They were attached to scarfs to keep them in place, worn on lapels and pockets of jackets or attached to the collar or pocket of a dress.
Popular styling of them is to attach them onto a sweater, shirt collar or jean jacket, shirt or shirt.
They looked great clipped to any pocket or to a lapel button opening.
Wear with a chain to make a statement pendant.
