Gorgeous original art deco era estate jewelry find from Arnold & Steere. Solid 10K white gold ring with a large 14x6mm marquis cut genuine super-fancy pink sapphire with yellow gold engraved accents on the shoulders. Photographed in natural cloud-diffused daylight with no studio lights on. Ring size 7.10 Tests as a sapphire on the Presidium II. This does not indicate if it was lab-created or natural. Lab sapphires existed during this time so it is likely a lab-created gem which will have the same chemical, physical and optical properties as a natural sapphire. White gold tested with JSP acids. I did not test the yellow gold shoulders. Preowned ring has signs of wear.
