Vintage 5 Bear Paw Shadowbox with Lapis Lazuli Station Necklace 20”

Lovely vintage handmade necklace with 5 stationed shadowbox Bear Paw pendants. Genuine Lapis Lazuli stones set with saw tooth bezels. An approx.10mm x 8mm cabochon on the central Bear Paw. The 4 smaller ones have ~4-5mm petit point cabs. I can see pyrite inclusions in the largest center stone. Very glowy, rich royal blue. Marked “Sterling” on the back of the main piece. Otherwise, unmarked - I cannot say if this was native made or not. Paper clip chain. Traditional hook clasp. The shadowboxes are hollow and therefore have a light comfortable weight. 20” length tip to tip. The large center bearpaw adds an approx. 1.25” additional drop. The Bear is a sacred animal in Native American traditions overall with many meanings. it is considered a powerful symbol of courage, protection, wisdom, insight, foresight & resourcefulness. Often considered to have magical powers, The Bear was/is looked upon as guardian, teacher, leader, protector & healer.
