Vintage.1950s Frosted Fad Studios Set of 3 Shot Measuring Glasses Can Can Girls

Rare find. This item is hard to come by. This sale is for a set of three 1950s Frosted satin finish Can Can Lady Shot measuring glasses. The Can Can dancer image is hand painted on the front. There are ounces marks on the side of the shot glasses, from one half ounce to three ounces. These were made by Gay Fad Studios, a mid century American company that made hand painted frosted glassware, often featuring novelty or humorous designs. The term frosted refers to the acid etched translucent finish on the glassware. The glasses measured 3 inches high by 2 5/8 since opening at the top. The color on dancers top is lighter on the two of the glasses. They are free of any chips or cracks. Nice vintage condition. Non smoking pet free home.
