Vintage union made in USA Robert Bruce sweater vest size L (tag XL) cream

I do not see a definite fabric content. Feels like wool or acrylic. No holes or stains. ILGWU union tag inside shoulder seam. Measures a bit smaller than a modern XL at about 22” pit to pit and 24” shoulder to waist.
