Beautiful vintage silk Japanese kimono robe. Lounge through the holidays in a pretty gift for yourself!
Light texture design makes me think of 1940s dressing gowns. In such a rich color orange. Perfect with your favorite butterscotch bakelite or coral necklace.
Has stunning hand painted details and traditional long Kimono sleeves with white silk lining that peeks out the sleeves.
Perfet for lounging since we are all a little more home bound these days. Lovely as a dressing gown. A great way to cover your vintage lingerie or swim wear! Or just wear it as a casual duster jacket with jeans.
-- Condition is Beautiful vintage, excellent condition. I see nothing to note!
I used a dress tie to show belted, but it DOES NOT have a belt. Just add your own belt.
-- Era I believe is late 40s to early 50s.. but may be 60s. The traditional well made Kimono has not changed that much over the 40s to 60s. It really takes on the era you want with what accessories you add.
-- is fully lined in silk and has a good amount of weight.
-- Kimonos often considered one size fits most. It will work best for a med or large by adjusting your tie. Snug on an XL. But check out measurements for best idea of fit.
You can always wrap it and belt smaller but these are the largest measurements with it still closing.
---- approx measurements ----
-- pit to pit 25 inches flat
-- Bust up to 46 inches
-- Waist 46 inches
-- Length under arm to hem 57 inches
-- Shoulder to hem 65 inches

@sierrab208 Hi, thanks so much for your interest 😊 The measurements are taken from side seam to side seam with the robe closed. It should be the same even when you add the tie / obi. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions ✨️

Thank you so very much for your response!
One more question - how tall is the crinoline set to model at?

@sierrab208 No problem. Im not sure what your asking about next? 😁 There's no crinoline in this listing. Maybe your asking about another item. Im happy to try to answer... just not sure what item your asking about.

@glitterngoldvtg oh, sorry for the confusion!
I wanted to know how tall the mannequin modeling the kimono is, so I can have a better understanding of the length of the kimono

@sierrab208 Sorry for the delay. From shoulder to the floor she is 62 inches. So 5 ft 2.... the Robe is 65 inches long.
