This brooch is goldtone with an enameling on shell if turtle. It has swarovski crystals in legs, tale, and head. This company that made this brooch is the St. John company most known for the enamel work on their button covers. They used fine metals and some gold plating if they plated it was usually woth 24kt. They also used Swarovski crystals. I do not have a gold tester so this is being advertised as goldtone also do not see any markings. Please review pictures closely as I did find a couple of manufacturing flaws

starr76 Measurements please? Are all rhinestones in place?

bmaberry40 @starr76 measurements are from nose to tail about 3 1/4 in from the widest part 2 1/4 inch. All crystals or rhinestones are still there. I am sorry. I did not get back to you sooner. I saw rhinestone yesterday only because I went into my listing. Thank you for shopping my store. I also have some measurements in the listing itself.

bmaberry40 I looked at it very closely. There is on crystal on near the foot that is missing. I did not see it until I was messing with testing stones. It is very hard to see as is had a gold tone underneath.
