Vintage root beer Bakelite clip on button earrings

This is a pre owned vintage pair of earrings from an estate purchase; in great condition with obvious signs of gentle use and age.  These have been lightly slightly cleaned up. Bakelite has been tested with Simichrome polish and Q-tip turned yellow. Metal findings ended up getting a little polished in the process but were darker from tarnish. No damage found. 40’s era I believe. I believe this color of bakelite is called “root beer”. Unknown gold tone metal. Reasonable offers considered
