Super unique ! Vintage old brass enameled gilded blue bird wide statement bangle. Will fit a small to medium size wrist. Has some denting on one section. Could possibly be an antique bangle bracelet that appears to be made of brass. It has some characteristics of Satsuma ware, a type of Japanese pottery. Satsuma ware is a type of Japanese earthenware pottery that originated in the Satsuma Province of southern Kyushu. It is known for its cream-colored glaze with a distinctive crackle pattern and intricate, multicolored enamel overglaze designs, often with gold accents. The style of decoration seen on the bracelet, with detailed figures and brocade-like patterns, is known as Satsuma nishikide and became popular in the 19th century, primarily for export to Western markets.
