Vintage official Olympic National Park Hurricane Ridge crop tee

The majestic Olympic National Park is one of the most underrated vacation destinations in the US. This is where Mother Nature works her wild magic (thank goodness no logging is permitted within the ONF boders), to give us pristine air, and wondrous panoramic views. Wait for the cleansing rain to ease, the mystical fog to lift-- you'll be rewarded with peace, clarity, and stillness, making you appreciate the absence of all things man made. This collectible souvenir t-shirt was purchased years ago from the Visitor's Center at the top of Hurricane Ridge, where at the parking lot the mother doe, her fawn, and other creatures roamed unhindered and unafraid of humans or vehicles. Sadly, in May of 2023 a fire destroyed the 1950's structure, and everything in it. On this memorable trip we were fortunate to have met the magnetic Mick Dodge, the rain-forest dweller (of the Nat Geo fame), while renting a cabin he co-owned. What an incomparable and memorable man! The cool, colorful Thunder Bird totem graphic on the t-shirt honors the original inhabitants of the Olympic Peninsula, and celebrates the past and present Native American culture.
