Vintage large Hand Painted Russian Lacquer Brooch Woman / Peasant Fruit Baskets

This is a gorgeous hand painted Russian lacquer vintage brooch. Black, with beautiful colors! This absolutely pops. While we’re not 100% sure of the origin, we did buy at an estate sale over 20 years ago & were told it was Russian. Based on online research, we see these ranging anywhere from low $20s to triple digits. This appears to be a woman or peasant with baskets, and it almost looks like she is dropping cherries into the basket. What do you see? 🤔 The color is really extraordinary, especially in her face. Our opinion, of course. Condition is wonderful! A few scratches and minor necks, but overall I would give this very high marks Comes to you as found, as is. Can use a good dusting and light cleaning to get rid of the fingerprints. We never clean our vintage jewelry before mailing! Has been sitting for two decades.
