Vintage jade ring

Vintage jewelry cache -- an older relative cleaned out her jewelry box for downsizing prior to a move, and here it all is! Absolutely gorgeous nephrite jade ring, set in gold-plated sterling silver, size 6.75. The mark on the inside (see 3rd pic) says "sterling" but I cannot find any indication of a maker or designer. This looks like something Greta Garbo would have worn back in the day! The jade stone is 3/4" long; ring needs polishing.
