Vintage hand carved mountain dulicimer, hand crafted wood musical instrument

Vintage hand carved mountain dulicimer, hand crafted instrument, wood dulcimer, musicala instrument, vintage musical instrument This beautifully hand-carved musical instrument is a Vintage hand crafted wooden 4-string mountain dulcimer. Some patina on the wood but still playable. Not sure who the original artist was who constructed this instrument. Rustic piece for playing or add to a country style home. There is not a bow This dulcimer is 37 1/2 long, 4 wide at its widest and 2 1/4 high. One string is missing but the tuning pegs are all still in place. There is a small apple carved opening for the sound. There is a water stain on one part and dust, but since it is vintage, I do not clean vintage items. I do not know for certain its age other than knowing it was in existence in the mid 1960s. It could have been built earlier than that though I do not know for sure.
