Vintage fur hat with bill

Vintage retro fur hats (I think faux but there’s no tag). Kepi style hat, in good condition. Very unique, I haven’t seen another like it. The kepi hat has an emblem with cross sword laurel leaves around and could have been for a high ranking French General or can be for a us civil war, I’m not sure how old it is.
