This is a very vintage emerald green satin purse 7 inches by 6 inches with small satin attached change purse bearing the logo of Bonwit Teller. The very last photo( all taken outdoors for color clarity)shows the logo of b mM; patent pending inside the purse.it is in very good usable condition. The “bow motif” had a resurrection of interest in 2023. First seen in fashion in the 17 and 1800’s . Early war years again in the world of couture fashion 1940’s. The tiny square center of the 2 and 1/2 inch tiny bow best seen in photo #4 is dark in it’s center. It’s the only irregularity I note and not sure if it’s soiling , or from storage or just the cut if the fabric. Could easily be covered with a small brooch or pin. This is a fabulous piece of fashion history.per a poster this is a 1950’s treasure by Morris Moscovitz. See under comments below.

Yes, you have a Morris Moscowitz treasure, from mid-late 50's
"Small evening bags in luxurious satins, velvets, and brocades are offered by Morris Moscowitz. Among them is a neat tailored satin pouch with a flap that is adaptable to any type of jewel trim. It comes in a myriad colors."
I wish I could add one more to my collection!
