Vintage bone china pomander ceramic

Vintage bone china pomander with hand painted flowers. Item is in excellent condition. You can fill it with whatever pomander scent you desire. Plug on bottom intact and in good condition. It features flowers in blues and pinks. It is about 10 1/4 in circumference If you arent familiar with pomanders, they are a ball or perforated container of sweet-smelling substances such as herbs and spices, placed in a closet, drawer, or room to perfume the air or (formerly--back in Victorian times) carried as a supposed protection against infection. I use pomanders in my linen closet, my undergarment drawer, the drawer for my night clothes. I love the scent as I get dressed or as I crawl under the bed covers to get cozy for the night.
