single9 There aren't any tests I have found for lucite. It is simply much heavier and is sometimes transparent or has things embedded.

single9 This is going to sound crazy, but it might be what is called Early American Plastic (EAP) that is the first of the plastics we use now (after bakelite, lucite and celluloid) but is better quality than what we use now.
