Handcrafted in New Mexico during the latter half of the 20th century, this piece is signed “Z. Hechilay Zuni," which is the mark used by brother and sister artisans Joe & Lola Hechilay (as is the stamp “J.L.H. Zuni”). The pair began working together in the 1950’s and collaborated to create many fine examples of Zuni jewelry until their deaths in 2009. Today, vintage pieces of their work are highly desirable and sought after by fans, vendors, and collectors alike. This bracelet showcases why.
