Vintage Zuni Kokopelli Earrings Inlay Sterling Silver Stamped

Purchased in Sedona, AZ well over 20 years ago. Love them, but ready to make room in my jewelry box. Some tarnish as expected with age, very easy to polish. These beautifully made Sterling silver earrings of Kokopelli with inlaid shell, lapis, and turquoise show him dancing to his flute playing. Kokopelli originated in the ancient Anasazi culture and was brought into the present by the Pueblo Indians. This figure of a bent over figure playing a flute has been associated with shamanism and supernatural qualities. He is a magical being who, by playing his flute, calls the clouds to make rain.
