Vintage Woven Rattan Bamboo Storage Basket with Lid, Likely Handcrafted by the Lahu Thai People for either rice storage or for sewing materials. Beautiful high-quality construction with a tight plaiting technique for the weave and added bamboo structure to the top and bottom. Measures: 7" x 3.75" Condition: Great vintage condition. Some individual woven strands show minor fraying, particularly along the rim. There is slight discoloration and darkening, with some small dark spots on the interior bottom and walls, consistent with age and previous use.
