Vintage 1940's Woven Market Basket - a split lid top handle style basket perfect as a small carrier / picnic or lunch basket / or purse. Wonderful patina on the natural wood surfaces - faux fruit findings are attached to both lid tops and there is a toggle style clasp to keep the lids closed and secure. No lining - no hallmarks - just absolutely adorable and ready to use in so many different ways. In very good vintage condition - minor wear on the exterior and a bit dusty inside but no significant damage or flaws - so cute!
