HISTORY Klokkestreng (Bell Pull Cord) is a handle, cord, or textile that rings a bell when pulled. Originally, the Klokkestreng (Bell Pulls) were common in Britain & America from the late 1700s to the early twentieth century. They were used as a pull to ring the steeple bells & also in larger manor homes to ring a bell to summon the servants.
