Vintage Wool or Wool blend Scarf

Pre-owned from a smoke free home, this vintage wool scarf has been in the family for at least 40 years. It has no tags on it so I am not 100% sure of the fabric. My guess is that it is 100% wool. It could be a wool blend however. The colors are reddish burgundy, gray, navy blue, white. There is some herringbone pattern involved. It has short fringes. The scarf is on the shorter side so there would not be a lot of wrapping around the neck. There are 4 small holes in it as you can see in the last couple of pictures. Very vintage classic.
