They are hand-knit by Coast Salish artisans, (the Coast Salish are a diverse Indigenous people who have lived for millennia along the Northwest Pacific coast of North America, including coastal British Columbia, Washington State, and parts of Oregon.) creating a unique, seamless garment with distinctive patterns representing family stories and traditions. This true vintage piece is a rare piece of history. It is extremely thick and well constructed, made with the large, iconic vintage YKK zipper. Ideal for a trip to Alaska, Canada, Russia, or any cold or arctic temperature. This zippered wool jacket is a dove grey color, with cream, and cornflower blue.
