Vintage Wooden Office Tray Document Inbox with Dovetails

Vintage office tray, very good condition, it is dovetailed, no maker’s mark, bottom is felt covered, please see pictures. Outside the box, the previous owner has written the numbers 2 and 4. I have not tried aggressively remove the writing since I wanted it to stay there as part of the box’s history. There is a rectangular‘rough’ spot on the side, maybe a label was there previously. Again, please see pictures. All these blemishes seem to remind us of a simpler time?? Don’t they?
