This is an attractive Florentine style jewelry box in very good vintage condition. The velvet lining of the drawers remains in very good condition, clean and intact. The drawers open and close freely and the upper lid fits well. One of the upper corners has a small area of paint loss, but there are no other condition issues to the box itself. It has a music box mechanism which only plays a few notes, so it is basically broken. The back can be removed to access the music box in case you might want to try to fix it or replace it. The box is 8 3/4 inches wide, 5.3/4 inches deep, and 7 3/4 inches tall. Its compact size will allow you to tuck it nicely onto dresser, vanity, or bedside stand.
