Vintage Wind Up Mechanical Back-Flipping Dog Toy

Circa 1960's wind up mechanical back-flipping dog toy. When wound up the dog does a back-flip. He starts the back-flip, but never makes it right side up. Maker unknown. Approx. 5 3/4" H x 5" L x 4 1/2" W. Item shows signs of dirt/soil. Holes in material at the ends of both hind legs. Please see photos and video for condition, wear and tear of item. Has been in a display cabinet for decades. Smoke free home. Very funny, nostalgic, and a rare find for the toy collector.
