This is a charming little box for all your trinkets, craft or sewing supplies. It's in good shape for it's age, however I do believe what you see hanging on the side of the basket is the rest of the latch. It's all there, including the middle ring. There are a couple loose threads but the color is great ! Old wicker needs to be oiled. Some one is going to love this ! (the lid has a nice lip for tighter closure)
