Vintage Whiting and Davis Alumesh Bakelite framed purse. All original

Vintage 1940s/50s Whiting and Davis Alumesh Bakelite Framed purse. The curved frame and double-looped chain are creamy colored Bakelite. The exterior is ivory Alumesh. (Normal wear and darkening in spots as noted in pictures). All original dark navy rayon interior lining with slot pocket. (Tag is worn but present) Kissing latch is fully functional, dark spot shown in picture. Beautiful piece of history!
