Vintage Whiting & Davis gold mesh evening bag - a flapper style top handle purse that can convert to a clutch when desired. This version has a rhinestone covered flip clasp and shapely goldtone metal frame. Clearly hallmarked on the frame and tagged inside. Sadly, the traditional pink fabric lining shows a water stain on both sides (see pics) - in otherwise excellent condition and certainly ready to carry! Size: Approximately 5" across x 4" height / slim profile although the upper frame opens wide / the chain strap drops the purse about 4" when used.
