Vintage Whiting Davis Mother of Pearl Shell Illustrated Princess Cameo Necklace

Gorgeousness! The mother of pearl shell catches all the colors when the light hits it. And the illustration of the young woman is in amazing condition. It is hard to say if she is a princess or a queen by her crown or tiara. She also is wearing a lovely necklace. The color of the metal is gold tone though it is showing some patina. I've taken photos to show. Being a Mid-Century Modern piece it is in very good condition with signs of wear consistent with it's age. Signed Whiting and Davis this necklace is likely from the 1950's when the company began adding costume jewelry to it's already popular line of mesh bags and accessories.
