Vintage Whiting & Davis Mesh Art Deco Evening Clutch

Stunning art deco era Whiting & Davis evening bag. Acrylic black handle, large enough to be worn on the shoulder. Light green and black vertical asymmetrical stripes throughout the mesh. Inside is lined with polyester and monogrammed Whiting and Davis throughout. Small inner zipper pocket inside the main pouch. Magnetic button closure. Shape and style leads me to believe this is dated somewhere between 1939 to 1952. Wonderful condition for its time period. Trapezoid shape. Measures 9” across at the widest part, 6.5” depth, 12” from apex of strap to bottom of the bag, 3” width.
