I hoped to god that these would fit me with no avail. These black western jeans have the most incredible accents, between the v on the front, no back pockets and the metal embellishments on the side (pictured, 4). I am obsessed with the way they fade from the bottom up and how they fit i just don’t have the hips for them :(. Incredible jealous of whoever snags these. milywhalen @cardonavintage hi! Are the metal embellishments on both sides of the legs? Or only on the one side? Also, could you please tell me where the hip measurement was taken (is 38.5” the widest point)? Thanks!

cardonavintage @milywhalen the metal is on both sides! and the hip measurement was taken across the bottom of the zipper fly, i think it may be just a bit smaller than the biggest point, i can confirm in a few hours!

milywhalen @cardonavintage okay thank you! Your description mentioned that they don't fit you in the hips-- is that because they're too big? Are they shown pinned/held at all in the photos? I also have somewhat narrow hips so just wanted to check. Thank you! :)
